The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the Indonesian National Police has officially implemented the national one-way system on the Trans-Java Toll Road starting today, Wednesday (18/3). This policy has been introduced to anticipate the peak of the 2026 Eid homecoming flow, predicted to occur today.

“We ensure that the Jakarta-bound lane is clear of vehicles before fully diverting the flow from the West (Jakarta) using all lanes towards the East,” said Inspector General Agus at KM 57 of the Japek Toll Road.
For those heading to Jakarta from Central Java or East Java, officers direct them to exit at the Krapyak Toll Exit or use the national arterial route (Pantura) during the one-way period.
The government urges homecomers to continue to obey speed limits and instructions from on-site officers. Drivers are also asked to ensure their electronic toll card (e-toll) balances are sufficient to avoid long queues at toll gates.
“Safety is the top priority. Do not force yourself to drive if tired; utilise rest areas or exit the toll road briefly to rest,” concluded Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi.
