JAKARTA — PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has supported the implementation of a one-way local traffic management system from KM 70 on the Jakarta–Cikampek toll road to KM 263 on the Pejagan–Pemalang toll road, effective at 15:18 WIB, under police discretion.

The traffic management measure has been implemented to anticipate the increase in vehicle volume during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H (2026) exodus period, particularly towards the eastern direction of the Trans Java route.

This step is part of coordination between Jasa Marga Group, the National Police, and the Ministry of Transportation to ensure smooth vehicle distribution during the peak travel period.

JTT stated that it has prepared various operational measures across the entire Trans Java toll corridor to support the implementation of the one-way local system.

These preparations include the installation of signage and traffic cones, deployment of personnel at strategic points, and optimisation of toll booth capacity through gate station readiness.

JTT has also ensured emergency service availability, including tow trucks, ambulances, and 24-hour toll road patrols.

Preparations also encompass the management of Rest and Service Areas (TIP), including the implementation of a situational opening and closing system to prevent vehicle congestion within these zones.

Ria Marlinda Paallo, VP Corporate Secretary & Legal at PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, stated that this measure is part of the company’s commitment to providing optimal service during the exodus period.

“JTT, together with stakeholders, has prepared various anticipatory measures, including support for the situational implementation of one-way traffic management. We urge road users to plan their journeys carefully and follow instructions from field personnel for safety and smooth traffic,” said Ria on Tuesday (17 March 2026).

JTT also urged road users to ensure their vehicles are in good condition, have sufficient fuel and e-money balance, and take advantage of available toll tariff discounts to distribute travel times.

Road users can monitor traffic conditions in real time through the Travoy application and contact the Jasa Marga One Call Center at 133 for the latest travel information on toll roads.
