One-Way, Contraflow and Gage Schedules on the Trans-Java Toll Road during Lebaran Mudik
The Indonesian National Police’s Traffic Corps (Polri) will implement a number of traffic management measures on the Trans-Java Toll Road during the mudik and balik Lebaran period in 2026. Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said the schemes are designed to cope with the surge in vehicles. The measures include contraflow, one-way, and odd-even (gage) policies.
‘We will still implement a one-way system during mudik, starting from kilometre 70 (Tol Japek),’ he told reporters on Wednesday (4 March). Ahead of the one-way implementation, the Traffic Corps will clear the lanes and rest areas. During normalisation, officers will also conduct sweep operations.
He explained that the odd-even restrictions will start from the Japek Toll Gate at KM 47 to Kalikangkung at KM 414. Meanwhile the contraflow will run from Cipali to Japek.
‘All of them are based on traffic counting studies involving relevant stakeholders, so that during the traffic management, everything runs according to plan,’ he said.
The following are the traffic management schedules on the Trans-Java Toll Road during the mudik and balik periods:
Outbound (Mudik)
One-way policy applied on the Japek Toll Road (KM 70) to Banyumanik GT (KM 421) from 17-20 March 2026, 12.00-24.00 WIB.
Contraflow at Banyumas Barat GT (KM 47) to Japek Toll (KM 70) from 17-20 March 2026, 14.00-24.00 WIB. On the Lebaran day, also applied on 21 March from 12.00-20.00 WIB, and 22 March from 09.00-18.00 WIB.
Odd-even (gage) from Japek (KM 47) to Kalikangkung GT (KM 414) from 17-20 March 2026, 14.00-24.00 WIB.
Odd-even (gage) from GT Cikupa (KM 31) to Merak Toll (KM 98) from 17-20 March 2026, around 14.00-24.00 WIB.
Return (Balik)
One-way policy for the return journey will run from Banyumanik GT (KM 421) to Japek Toll (KM 70) from 23-29 March 2026, 12.00-24.00 WIB.
Contraflow on the return from Japek Toll (KM 70) to Banyumas Barat GT (KM 47) from 23-29 March 2026, 14.00-24.00 WIB.
Contraflow on the return along Jagorawi towards Jakarta will be implemented specifically on the Jagorawi Toll (KM 21) to Jagorawi (KM 8) on 24 and 29 March 2026, 14.00-19.00 WIB.
Odd-even (gage) during Lebaran return will apply from Kalikangkung GT (KM 414) to Japek Toll (KM 47) from 23-29 March 2026, 00.00-24.00 WIB.
Odd-even (gage) during Lebaran return will apply from Merak Toll (KM 98) to Cikupa GT (KM 31) from 23-29 March 2026, 00.00-24.00 WIB.
