One Step Away from the Championship, Persib Prepares Victory Parade Route

Persib Bandung is one step away from winning the BRI Super League 2025/2026, needing only a draw against Persijap at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA) on Saturday, 23 May 2026. They have also prepared their victory parade route for next week, on Sunday, 24 May 2026.

‘We are not seeking to pre-empt the will of Allah SWT, but we are embracing the fate of becoming champions three times in a row, or a hat-trick. Because Bandung’s chances are so high, we are preparing this convoy even better than in previous years,’ said West Java Deputy Governor Erwan Setiawan on Tuesday, 19 May 2026.

He said he has held a meeting with PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, Polda Jabar, Kodam III Siliwangi, Dishub, Dinkes, PMI, and the Bandung City Government to support the parade. The parade route will be different from last year due to Gedung Sate being renovated. Erwan said the parade will start from the west parking area of Gedung Sate, proceed to Jalan Banda, Jalan Riau, Jalan Merdeka, Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Lembong, Jalan Veteran, Simpang Lima, Asia Afrika and end at Gedung Merdeka.

‘We expect to be ready to depart by 07.00; the journey will take about 3 to 4 hours,’ he said.
