Jakarta (ANTARA) — PNM’s commitment to remaining present among the community continues to be realised through various approaches, from empowering ultra-micro women entrepreneurs who have reached a total of 22.9 million women, to social contributions through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programme via PNM Peduli. On the other hand, support for youth development is also provided through synergies in the sports sector with the Pro Futsal League (PFL) 2026. This support is manifested, among others, through the Goes to School activity, a Coaching Clinic held at SMTK Malinggang, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. This event continues the series of PNM activities with PFL that were previously held in Tangerang City, Jakarta, and Malang, as a form of consistent presence in bringing coaching access closer to students in various regions. The activity also provides practical learning experiences, from PNM’s role in Indonesian society, basic techniques, to building a competitive futsal mentality. Participants’ enthusiasm was evident throughout the event. “Initially, I just wanted to join the futsal training, but it turns out I also learned about PNM’s role in Indonesia—it’s really cool. It really opens my mind, and hopefully one day I can have the opportunity to work at PNM too,” said one participant. PNM Corporate Secretary Dodot Patria Ary stated that this approach is part of efforts to deliver more comprehensive empowerment. “We see that the younger generation has great potential that needs to be supported from an early stage. Through activities like this, we want to open learning spaces while introducing opportunities for them to participate in the empowerment process,” he said. On the same occasion, career opportunities as an Account Officer for vocational school graduates were also introduced, as the frontline guard in assisting underprivileged communities.
