One missing in sea accident

JAMBI: A sailor went missing when a motor boat capsized in heavy seas in Berhala Strait.

Jambi harbor master, Zulretmika, said the accident occurred on Friday about 15 miles from Nipah Panjang beach in Tanjung Jabung district, Antara reported.

One of the 11 sailors on board of KM Kertajaya II was missing, he said. The others were rescued by a passing vessel.

He called on shipping companies and sailors to be careful when sailing in Tanjung Jabung due to the high waves.(sim)
