One Global Capital Expands Boutique Hotel Business in Parramatta
Jakarta (ANTARA) — One Global Capital (OGC) is expanding its hotel business by adding a premium boutique hotel in the Parramatta area, Australia. The property, which will begin operations in May 2026, features 36 units of premium serviced apartments with a portfolio value of around AUD 25 million.
The expansion is being carried out through the One Global Resorts (OGR) platform and becomes the second hotel asset directly operated by the company. The property was previously known as SKYE Parramatta before being repositioned as a boutique hotel based on an urban resort concept.
Chairman and Group CEO of One Global Capital, Iwan Sunito, stated that this step is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its hospitality portfolio in Australia’s major urban areas.
“Parramatta is an area that continues to grow and is an important part of Sydney’s future. We have a strong understanding of this market because we have previously developed more than 750 apartment units in the area,” said Iwan Sunito in his statement on Monday.
The boutique hotel is located about a five-minute walk from Parramatta Station and Parramatta Square, making it strategically positioned to serve both business and leisure travellers in Western Sydney.
OGC is also collaborating with architect Koichi Takada to design the hotel’s foyer and room interiors. In addition, the company will implement automatic check-in technology to enhance guest comfort and operational efficiency.
According to Iwan Sunito, the company will carry out gradual improvements to the building and interior of the property to deliver a premium stay experience while maintaining the serviced apartment concept.
The addition of the asset in Parramatta further strengthens One Global Capital’s business expansion over the past 12 months. Previously, the company developed a hotel asset worth AUD 120 million in Green Square, an AUD 70 million project in Macquarie Park, and a mixed-use project worth AUD 1.5 billion in Five Dock.
With the addition of this new property, One Global Capital’s total hotel portfolio now reaches approximately AUD 140 million.
