One dies in train crash

CIAMIS, West Java: A train bound for Kroya, West Java, from
Bandung hit a minibus Wednesday at the Gayam railway crossing
here, killing one.

Enok Kartiwa, 40, who was one of the four minibus passengers,
died instantly. Three other passengers were seriously injured and
are being treated at the Ciamis Hospital.

Antara reported that the crossing was open and the minibus was
driving over it when the train came. Police have arrested the
crossing attendant and are investigating the accident further.
