One Day After Dadan Hindayana's Removal, BGN Office Raided by Attorney General's Office

The office of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) in Jakarta was raided by investigators from the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) on Wednesday, 3 June 2026. This search has drawn significant attention as it occurred just one day after President Prabowo Subianto reshuffled the agency’s leadership.

The news of the raid was confirmed by the Acting Head of the Legal Information Centre of the Attorney General’s Office, Jefri. He stated that the investigative team from the Directorate of Special Crimes (Dittipidsus) of the Attorney General’s Office was indeed conducting legal actions at the BGN office.

However, the Attorney General’s Office has kept the details regarding the basis of the search strictly confidential. There has been no further explanation regarding the specific case being handled or the parties allegedly involved in the investigation process.

This raid emerges amidst major changes within the BGN. On Tuesday night, 2 June 2026, President Prabowo implemented a change in the leadership of the agency, which serves as the spearhead for the national nutrition fulfilment programme.

In the new structure, Nanik S. Deyang has been appointed as the Head of BGN, replacing Dadan Hindayana. Additionally, the positions of Deputy Head of BGN are now held by Agustina Arumsari and Major General TNI Trenggono, replacing Lodewik Kusung and Soni Sanjaya.

As news of the raid surfaced, questions arose regarding the possibility of an investigation into Dadan Hindayana, who has just stepped down from his position. However, the Attorney General’s Office emphasised that, as of now, there has been no summons issued to the former Head of BGN.
