One-Day-a-Week WFH Policy: How Will MBG Distribution Proceed?
Jakarta - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has confirmed that the work-from-home (WFH) policy, to be implemented one day per week for civil servants (ASN) and private sector workers, will not hinder the operation of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme. BGN Head Dadan Hindayana stated that all services to the public, particularly MBG distribution, will continue to run optimally. “Whatever the form of work pattern adjustments, MBG services must continue to operate. Distribution to beneficiaries, including students and the 3B group, must remain on schedule,” said Dadan in his statement on Tuesday (31/3/2026). BGN has ensured that MBG distribution will still follow the number of school days. “Similarly, for the 3B beneficiaries (pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers), it must continue as usual,” he added. Dadan emphasised that BGN will adjust its work patterns in line with the policy to be implemented. “In addition, I can assure you that the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme will continue, especially for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers. Please intensify that,” he stressed. “We are optimistic that the MBG programme can continue effectively while supporting the transformation of more efficient government governance,” Dadan concluded. It is known that the government will soon announce the policy on work-from-home (WFH) for civil servants (ASN) and private sector workers. Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian revealed that the official announcement regarding this WFH policy will be made on Tuesday (31/3/2026). “Just be patient, be patient, I hear it’s very likely, possibly, to be officially announced tomorrow,” said Tito at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Monday (30/3/2026).
