One-Click Nutrition Technology Tested, UNM Strengthens Prevention of Child Wasting
Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), known as a Digital Business Campus, continues to promote the use of digital technology to help communities address health and nutrition challenges.
This was realised through the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of the 2026 Community Service Grant (PKM) Progress Report from DPPM Kemdiktisaintek, held in Pamulang Timur Urban Village, South Tangerang, on Wednesday (26/8/2026).
The programme, themed ‘User-Friendly One-Click Nutrition Technology for Integrated Early Intervention in Toddler Nutrition to Prevent Wasting among PKK Cadres of Pamulang Timur Urban Village’, formed part of the implementation evaluation as well as strengthening the programme’s sustainability within the community.
The activity was attended by the Head of RW 011 Pamulang Timur, Agus Efendi, as the community partner representative. From UNM, Dr Sukmawati Anggraeni Putri, Head of the PKM Grant Activity, and Dr Linda Marlinda, evaluator from LPPM UNM, were present.
The Monev aimed to review the programme’s progress, the alignment of implementation with the plan, and achievements up to the progress report stage. The evaluation also served as a forum for obtaining input to improve the quality of activities and targeted outputs.
Dr Sukmawati Anggraeni Putri, Head of the PKM Grant Activity and Head of the Information Systems Study Programme at UNM, said the activity was a momentum to ensure the One-Click Nutrition innovation was developed according to community needs, particularly for PKK cadres in monitoring toddler nutrition.
‘Through this Monev, we can see the development of the One-Click Nutrition implementation while obtaining input for programme refinement,’ she said in a statement quoted on Saturday (29/8/2026).
She expressed hope that the technology developed would be truly user-friendly and could help PKK cadres monitor toddler nutritional conditions more easily and in a more targeted manner. The One-Click Nutrition programme focuses on utilising user-friendly technology to support PKK cadres in collecting, managing, and utilising data on toddler nutritional conditions.
This information is expected to support monitoring and early intervention efforts for nutritional problems, particularly the prevention of wasting.
In this Monev, the UNM PKM team presented the development of the technology implementation to PKK cadres of Pamulang Timur. The evaluator then provided input and guidance as material for programme development and to ensure its benefits could be optimally felt by partners.
Community involvement through the Head of RW 011 was also an important part of supporting the programme’s sustainability. ‘Collaboration between the community service team, PKK cadres, and the community is expected to strengthen the use of technology in supporting the monitoring of toddler nutritional conditions in the local area,’ she said.
As a Digital Business Campus, UNM continues to encourage lecturers and students to develop technology-based innovations that have real benefits for society. The One-Click Nutrition programme is one form of utilising digital technology to support the resolution of problems at the community level.
Through the 2026 PKM Grant Monev, Dr Sukmawati expressed hope that the One-Click Nutrition programme could continue to be refined and contribute to supporting the monitoring and prevention of toddler nutrition problems in Pamulang Timur Urban Village.
