Once Leaked, Now Blasted by Iran: Profile of the Man Who Dared to Expose the Secrets of Dimona's Nuclear Kitchen

The sky over the silent Negev suddenly turned into a sea of fire. In the early hours of Sunday (22/3/2026), Iranian retaliatory missiles breached Zionist airspace with unstoppable ferocity. Dimona is not just a small town in the southern desert. It is the heart of Israel’s unacknowledged nuclear programme, never admitted yet never denied. Behind high fences and layers of state secrecy, this area serves as the primary site for uranium enrichment and nuclear weapons development.

Israel, with near impunity from the international community, has continued this project as if it were “sanctioned”, supported, and even protected by Western powers. No UN Security Council resolution has effectively halted Tel Aviv’s steps. No sanctions as severe as those imposed on other nations pursuing similar ambitions have been applied.

In contrast, Iran, which has repeatedly stated that its nuclear technology is solely for energy and civilian needs, has been shackled by curses and pressures. US and Israeli airstrikes reported to have hit the uranium enrichment facility in Natanz a day earlier provided the pretext for Iran’s retaliatory strike on Dimona. In Tehran’s eyes, the attack on Dimona is proportionate revenge for what they call aggression against their own facilities.

This is the unresolved tension: a country openly accused of possessing nuclear weapons escapes punishment almost entirely, while another enriching for energy purposes faces the threat of war. “Halal for Zionists, haram for Iran,” is the narrative now echoing in many circles.
