TEHERAN — Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of the 44th wave of Operation True Promise 4, a large-scale assault combining precision ballistic missiles and unmanned drones (UAVs) targeting US and Israeli military positions throughout occupied Palestinian territories and the Gulf region.

The operation was launched on the 23rd night of Ramadan, coinciding with Lailatul Qadar and preceding International Quds Day, according to Al Mayadeen. Bearing the code name “Ya Syadidal Miqab” (O He of Severest Punishment), the assault was directed at the northern Palestinian cities of Kiryat Shmona, Hadera, and Haifa, as well as the strategically significant US Fifth Fleet base.

In an official statement, the IRGC detailed the weaponry deployed to breach enemy defences, including the Khorramshahr missile, a heavy ballistic missile equipped with dual and multiple warheads. Additional systems included the Emad and Kheibar-Shekan missiles, each carrying one-ton warheads for maximum destructive impact, alongside the Qadr missile and a fleet of suicide drones.

The strikes hit West Jerusalem (Al-Quds), Tel Aviv, and Eilat. The IRGC stated that the operation represented a tribute to the “Martyrs of the Path of Quds”, including General Qassem Soleimani, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and the late IRGC Commander Hossein Salami.
