Talking about the plan of building Jakarta Tower by tycoons
Henry Pribadi, Prayogo Pangestu and Sudwikatmono, we should not
necessarily link it to the issues of the social gap or people
still living under the poverty line, etc.

Why don't we look back to the Old Order era. In spite of the
fact that most people at that time lived miserably, the then
president Sukarno succeeded in building the magnificent Istiqlal
Mosque and the National Monument.

What is most important now is that we are lucky to have three
tycoon who aspire to build a tower which will cost nearly one
trillion rupiah. Sudwikatmono said (to Merdeka daily) that the
projected tower will symbolize the success of Indonesian
development. It is precisely so! It is not easy to find tycoons
who come up with such a magnificent idea of building a
spectacular tower. We must give our full support to this great
idea.
