On its 65th Anniversary, Bank Jakarta Provides Assistance for People with Disabilities

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Bank Jakarta has distributed training support assistance to friends with disabilities under the guidance of the Indonesian Disability Solidarity Foundation as part of the 65th anniversary of the DKI regional bank. “On the occasion of Bank Jakarta’s 65th anniversary, we wish to share broader benefits. This support represents our concern for friends with disabilities to ensure better access to training, skills, and opportunities for independence,” said Bank Jakarta’s Director of Compliance, Ateng Rivai, in his statement in Jakarta on Monday. According to Ateng, empowering vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities, is an important part of equitable development. Therefore, Bank Jakarta wishes to continue collaborating with various parties to encourage the creation of an inclusive ecosystem. The visit by Bank Jakarta and the provision of assistance were enthusiastically welcomed by the Chairman of the Indonesian Disability Solidarity Foundation, Suty Karno, along with the trainees with disabilities. Suty Karno expressed appreciation for Bank Jakarta’s concern, which he assessed as providing real impetus for the development of the training participants’ capacities. “We welcome and thank Bank Jakarta for its attention. This assistance is very meaningful in supporting training facilities and strengthening the empowerment programmes we run for friends with disabilities,” he said. Meanwhile, Bank Jakarta’s Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, stated that this social activity is one of the series of Bank Jakarta’s anniversary celebrations, focusing on care, collaboration, and community empowerment, including groups with disabilities as an important part of inclusive development.
