On Golkar’s 62nd Anniversary, Bogor Calls for Support for President Prabowo’s Second Term

The Bogor Regency branch of Golkar in West Java held a thanksgiving event to mark the party’s 62nd anniversary. On the occasion, Golkar Bogor reaffirmed its support for President Prabowo Subianto’s priority programmes.

“Even today, on Golkar’s 62nd anniversary, we remain at the forefront of overseeing the central government’s programmes, particularly President Prabowo’s Asta Cita agenda,” said Ade Ruhandi, deputy chairman of the West Java Golkar Party board, on Tuesday (20 October 2026).

The Bogor Deputy Regent said the public had already felt the benefits of many government programmes, particularly people living below the poverty line.

“These include the MBG programme, village cooperatives, KUR loans for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, and the latest assistance: electric rickshaws, which we recently distributed to people who earn their living by pedalling rickshaws every day,” he said.

He also expressed support for Prabowo to serve two terms as president, saying the president had so far received a positive response from the public.

“Golkar in Bogor Regency expresses its support for Prabowo Subianto to serve again as President of the Republic of Indonesia for a second term. This support is based on our assessment that the central government’s programmes have received a positive response from the public,” he added.

He said Golkar also supported the Bogor regional government because its programmes were aligned with those of the central government.

“It is not only Golkar: all political parties and every element of society in Bogor Regency must support the Bogor Regency Government’s programmes so that we can achieve clean government, a more advanced region and greater public prosperity,” he concluded.
