On closure of churches

We refer to the visit of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to the
United States.

I strongly request to President George W. Bush, the U.S.
Congress and leaders of the United Nations to ask President
Susilo to stop the illegal closure of many churches in Indonesia
by hard-line groups.

Two articles in The Jakarta Post's Sept. 12 edition serve as
evidence of the unfortunate phenomena.
