On 80th Bhayangkara Day, Police PR Division Invites Public to Create Works About the Force
The Public Relations Division (Divhumas) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) is holding a series of creative competitions to commemorate the 80th Bhayangkara Day. Divhumas is inviting various parties to compete creatively in conveying hopes, constructive criticism, and stories of close experiences with police officers.
Kabag Produk Kreatif Divhumas Polri, Commissioner Dwi Sulistyawan, stated that the competition serves as a collaborative space between the police and the public. The public can express their hopes, constructive criticism, and humanistic stories about the service, dedication, and closeness of Polri with citizens through various creative works.
“Through this competition, we want to invite the public to voice the spirit of ‘Polri Untuk Masyarakat’ (Police for the Community). These creative works are expected to become a positive communication bridge between the police and the public,” said Commissioner Dwi Sulistyawan on Monday (6/7/2026).
The competition carries the main theme “Polri Untuk Masyarakat.” This activity provides a platform for the public, police personnel, children, journalists, and people with disabilities to channel their ideas, messages, and positive works about the presence of the police in society.
The competition categories include:
Infographic Content,
Storytelling,
Journalistic Articles,
Police Educational Videos,
TikTok Videos,
Photography,
Short Stories,
AI Animation Films,
Painting for the Disabled,
Song Creation,
and Murals.
All categories adopt the main theme “Polri Untuk Masyarakat” with sub-themes highlighting service, security, innovation, education, dedication, and the humanistic relationship between the police and the community.
For the Infographic and TikTok Video categories, the committee has opened general and police-specific divisions. Participants are required to create original works that do not violate copyright and comply with the established technical provisions.
Meanwhile, the Storytelling competition is intended for children aged 5-6 years or kindergarten level, featuring stories that highlight children’s closeness with the police through safe, friendly, and educational messages.
Divhumas is also providing a platform for press members through a Journalistic Article competition with sub-themes such as “Polri and Public Trust,” “Presisi in Practice,” and “Polri Amidst the Challenges of the Times.”
Additionally, the public can participate in photography, short story, educational video, AI animation film, song creation, painting for the disabled, and mural competitions that highlight the values of dedication, harmony, hope, and the humanistic side of police duties.
Commissioner Dwi hopes that this series of competitions for the 80th Bhayangkara Day will produce inspirational works that strengthen the relationship between the police and the community. Participants are also encouraged to upload their works on personal social media with the hashtags #HariBhayangkara80, #PolriUntukMasyarakat, and #SemangatPolriPresisi, and to tag the account @divisihumaspolri as part of the collective spirit to present a humanistic, precise, and community-oriented police force.
