Omoway Prepares to Launch Omo-X in Indonesia, Check the Price

JAKARTA – Electric motorcycle manufacturer Omoway is preparing to enliven Indonesia’s electric vehicle market with the launch of the Omo-X in June 2026. The model is available in two variants: Smart as the standard type and Balance equipped with self-balancing technology or automatic stabiliser. Before its official market release, Omoway has already opened the pre-order period since the end of April 2026. General Manager of Omoway Indonesia, Yulong Chen, stated that the Omo-X will be marketed with a price range starting from Rp 44.5 million to Rp 61.5 million off the road. “Omo-X comes in two variants. The price starts from Rp 44.5 million to Rp 61.5 million off the road. During the pre-order period, it can drop to Rp 35.5 million to Rp 52.5 million,” said Yulong when met in Bogor, West Java. In detail, the price reduction comes from Omoway’s own subsidy of Rp 7 million plus a vehicle administration subsidy of Rp 2 million. Some facilities provided include free charging at Omoway facilities for five years, roadside assistance, and free service labour for five years. In addition, Omoway offers direct gifts in the form of a premium helmet, integrated audio system, cap, and t-shirt for early order consumers. The presence of Omo-X also marks Omoway’s initial step in Indonesia’s electric vehicle market, which is now increasingly competitive.
