OMODA X to Be Unveiled in China

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The new OMODA X vehicle will be unveiled at OMODA X NIGHT in Wuhu, China, on 20 October 2026.

According to a company press release received in Jakarta on Thursday, the OMODA X has sharp lines and a futuristic appearance, building on the design of the OMODA O4, which features a cyber-mecha concept and sports-car inspiration.

The OMODA X debut is part of the OMODA & JAECOO International User Summit 2026, taking place in Wuhu from 18 to 24 October.

Alongside the OMODA X launch, OMODA & JAECOO will showcase new vehicle technologies at the event in Wuhu, including automated parking technology and artificial intelligence (AI)-based features. The parking technology and AI features will be presented in the Super Intelligent Experience Lab demonstration area.

The company will also introduce the OMODA O4 and present the Super AI Cockpit at the exhibition. The cockpit is designed to enable AI-powered interaction between drivers and vehicles, including the ability to understand a range of user commands and needs.

OMODA & JAECOO’s parent company is increasing its research and development spending to support the development of its vehicle technologies. Its R&D expenditure in the first half of 2026 reached 6.672 billion yuan (Rp17.8 trillion), up 28.3% from the same period a year earlier.

The funding is being used to support the development of electrification platforms, advanced driver assistance systems and intelligent cockpits.
