Omni Batavia responds

We wish to thank Ms. Lily for her comments (The Jakarta Post,
Feb. 15). The flood this weekend was a most unusual one with many
guests and their families coming to the hotel at all hours. Yet,
due to the floods, many of our staff were unable to come to work.
This put our operations under unprecedented pressure and,
unfortunately, a clerical mistake was unintentionally made. We
have fully investigated the circumstances of this occurrence and
appropriate action will be taken.

We, as other hotels, are continuously striving for excellence
in all aspects of our operations.

We will continue to do our best in assuring that the level of
competence of all the staff at the Omni Batavia Hotel is further
enhanced to maintain the high level of service expected by our
valued guests.
