Ombudsman Leadership Visits KPK to Discuss Public Services Vulnerable to Corruption
Jakarta - The Deputy Chairman of the Republic of Indonesia Ombudsman, Rachmadi Indra, along with other Ombudsman members, visited the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at the Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Tuesday (12/5/2026).
KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that during the meeting, the Ombudsman held an audience with KPK leaders regarding plans for cooperation to improve the quality of public services deemed vulnerable to corruption.
“In this meeting, the KPK and Ombudsman discussed opportunities for collaboration in efforts to enhance the quality of public services. Considering that the public services sector is also one of the sectors vulnerable to corruption,” said Budi in his statement on Tuesday (12/5/2026).
“Collaboration can be carried out through the exchange of data and information as well as other joint programmes, so that corruption prevention as well as the improvement of public service quality can be more accelerated and provide real benefits to the public,” he added.
The Deputy Chairman of the Republic of Indonesia Ombudsman, Rachmadi Indra, was brief in his comments after the audience with the KPK leaders.
He stated that the meeting was in the context of establishing relations between the Ombudsman and the KPK.
“Just establishing relations,” said Rachmadi when met by reporters.
He then hurriedly left the crowd of reporters and entered his car.
