Olly Dondokambey Urges Cadres to Complete the Consolidation Process

Olly Dondokambey, the chairman of the North Sulawesi PDIP regional leadership council, urged party cadres to complete the entire internal consolidation process before the party proceeds with its political and social-programme agenda. He made the remarks while attending the Musyawarah Anak Cabang (Musancab) of PDIP in Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe at Graha Immanuel, Tahuna, on Thursday, 21 May 2026. Olly’s presence was part of the party consolidation effort down to the Pengurus Anak Cabang (PAC) level in North Sulawesi. Olly said that almost all areas in North Sulawesi had completed Musancab. ‘We are grateful that in North Sulawesi only Sitaro remains. On the 29th we will complete the Musyawarah Anak Cabang in Sitaro,’ Olly said. Once Musancab is finished, the Dewan Pimpinan Cabang (DPC) will continue with the Musyawarah Ranting stage to strengthen the party’s structure down to village and kelurahan levels. Olly said the party’s focus at the moment remains on internal organisational strengthening. Social-programme initiatives will begin in September 2026. ‘We will finish the organisational consolidation first, then start the social programmes,’ he said. He added that 2027 will be the final stage of consolidation and the preparation of party cadres for the next political agenda. However, to date, there has been no discussion about candidates for the regional head election. ‘This is only consolidation. Later we will see the cadres.’ Olly also urged residents of the Sangihe Islands to pay attention to PDIP cadres who are considered capable and accepted by the public. He said the cadres would be prepared to contest both legislative and executive elections.
