Oka finishes 13th in wind-surfing
JAKARTA (JP): Indonesian lone hopeful I Made Oka Sulaksana finished 13th after nine races in the Olympic wind-surfing competition at Savannah Beach, Georgia.
Coach Robby Rumeper said that Oka, who competed in the one mistral design class, scored the highest points among the Asian surfers.
"His performance was fairly good as European seeds were placed only in the 20s in the final rankings," Robby said.
Robby said that although Oka failed to achieve his top ten target, he had made progress. "He rarely performed well during the practices and the competition," Robby was quoted by Antara as saying. (yan)
