Ojol Whose Motorcycle Was Damaged by Alphard Driver in South Jakarta Given New Vehicle

The case of vandalism against the motorcycle of online motorcycle taxi (ojol) driver Mulyadi by an Alphard driver in Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, has ended peacefully. Mulyadi said he has forgiven the perpetrator.

“I am sincere, sincere,” said Mulyadi on Wednesday (19/8/2026).

Mediation was conducted between Mulyadi and the perpetrator at Pesanggrahan Police Station. The mediation concluded with the decision that the case would be settled amicably.

During the mediation, Mulyadi was also given a new motorcycle. Mulyadi received the motorcycle from politicians Uya Kuya and Putri Zulkifli Hasan.

“The process is complete,” said Pesanggrahan Police Chief Kompol Seala Syah Alam.

Previously, the vandalism carried out by the Alphard driver against the motorcycle belonging to the online motorcycle taxi (ojol) driver went viral on social media. The police stepped in to conduct an investigation.

From the circulating video, the ojol and the Alphard driver could be seen on the road shoulder. The Alphard driver, wearing a red shirt, appeared to damage the ojol’s motorcycle by striking it with a rock.

The ojol could only resign himself to watching his motorcycle being damaged. The front part of the ojol’s motorcycle appeared to have sustained damage.
