OJK Welcomes New Board Members, Committed to Safeguarding the National Financial Sector
JAKARTA - The Chief Justice of the Republic of Indonesia Supreme Court, Sunarto, administered the oath of office to seven members of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Board of Commissioners at the Supreme Court building in Jakarta on Wednesday.
This was in accordance with Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 30/P of 2026 regarding the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Financial Services Authority Board of Commissioners.
Five of the OJK Board of Commissioners members who took the oath are officials who have been appointed by the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) in the DPR RI Plenary Session on 12 March 2026, as a follow-up to the fit and proper test process by Commission XI of the DPR RI.
The seven members of the OJK Board of Commissioners who took the oath of office are as follows.
This oath-taking marks the continuation of the process of filling strategic positions within the OJK Board of Commissioners to strengthen OJK’s institutional leadership in maintaining the stability of the financial services sector, strengthening consumer protection, promoting financial market deepening, and overseeing the transformation of the national financial services sector.
OJK Board of Commissioners Chair Friderica Widyasari Dewi expressed OJK’s commitment to continue safeguarding financial sector stability and optimising the contribution of the financial services sector to national economic growth as well as supporting government priority programmes.
OJK will also continue to maintain public trust by strengthening integrated supervision and financial market deepening to further encourage the financial services sector to grow into a driver of national economic growth.
To implement these programmes, OJK will continue to foster synergy and collaboration with all stakeholders to jointly build a better national economy in the future.
The oath-taking event was attended by state institution leaders, leaders and members of Commission XI of the DPR RI, leaders of ministries/institutions, OJK Board of Commissioners members, and stakeholders in the financial services sector.
