Jakarta – The Task Force for Eradicating Illegal Financial Activities (Satgas PASTI) has halted the operations of PT Malahayati Nusantara Raya after discovering business practices that do not comply with regulations and pose risks to the public. This step was announced on 28 April 2026 in Jakarta by the Satgas PASTI Secretariat.

Satgas PASTI Secretariat, Hudiyanto, stated that the suspension was due to the company offering online loan resolution services without the required permits.

“Its activities are halted until business permits are fulfilled in accordance with the regulations,” he said in Jakarta on Tuesday (28/4/2026).

PT Malahayati Nusantara Raya is known to offer various services, from consultations on online loan problems, debt collection services, to programmes for capital development and distribution to the public.

In its promotional materials, the company also displayed the Financial Services Authority (OJK) logo and claimed to be licensed and registered, which is not the case.

One concerning practice is the scheme that encourages the public to pay off online loan debts by taking new loans from other platforms or ‘dig a hole to fill a hole’.

The company promises to handle all the debts and then requests a fee from part of the disbursed loan funds.

Verification and clarification results show that PT Malahayati Nusantara Raya does not have permits from OJK or other relevant regulators.

Additionally, the business activities conducted do not align with the permits recorded at the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM.

Based on these findings, Satgas PASTI has ordered the cessation of all company activities and will block access to social media and links used for promotion. If this order is not complied with, criminal legal action will be pursued.

Hudiyanto reminded the public to be cautious of offers for online loan resolution services, especially those displaying official agency logos.

“The public needs to be wary of similar offers,” he said.

Complaints regarding suspected illegal financial activities can be submitted through the official Satgas PASTI website at sipasti.ojk.go.id, OJK contact 157, WhatsApp service 081157157157, and email konsumen@ojk.go.id.

Meanwhile, victims of financial transaction scams can report through the Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) at iasc.ojk.go.id to support quick blocking of perpetrators’ accounts.
