OJK Revokes Licence for Koperindo Jaya Bank – Indonesia to Purchase Brahmos Missile System

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has revoked the operating licence of PT Bank Perekonomian Rakyat Koperindo Jaya, located in North Petojo, Central Jakarta. The licence revocation forms part of the OJK’s supervisory measures to maintain the health of the banking industry and preserve public confidence.

Meanwhile, Indonesia plans to purchase India’s supersonic Brahmos cruise missile system. This step is part of efforts to modernise the country’s main weapon systems to strengthen national maritime defence.
