OJK Reveals 7 IPO Candidates in Pipeline, Targeting Rp4.02 Trillion - BCA Securities

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has recorded that seven companies are currently in the pipeline for the initial public offering (IPO) registration process on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as of 6 September 2026. These seven potential issuers have an estimated maximum fundraising target of Rp4.02 trillion.

OJK Executive Head of Capital Market Supervision, Derivatives, and Carbon Exchange, Hasan Fawzi, stated that IPO realisations in 2026 are being influenced by several factors, particularly global market dynamics and increasing geopolitical uncertainty. These conditions have also affected the timing of companies executing their public offerings.

In addition to external factors, the OJK noted that several IPO plans have yet to receive approval. This is due to the ongoing need for improved quality regarding information disclosure from potential issuers.

Hasan emphasised that the OJK is not solely focused on the number of companies conducting IPOs, but also on the total funds raised within the capital market. The OJK has set a capital market fundraising target of Rp250 trillion for 2026.

“As of 6 September 2026, the value of funds raised in the capital market has reached Rp148.3 trillion,” said Hasan.

In pursuit of this target, the OJK continues to prioritise the quality of information disclosure and the readiness of potential issuers. Consequently, the process towards a public offering considers not only the number of companies entering the exchange but also the companies’ readiness to meet applicable regulations.

Furthermore, the OJK, in collaboration with the IDX, continues to conduct socialisation for companies planning to undergo an IPO. One of the efforts being undertaken is through coaching clinics in various regions across Indonesia to develop and prepare companies that intend to raise funds through the capital market.
