The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has outlined a series of policy measures that have been and will continue to be taken to maintain national financial system stability. This was conveyed by the Chairman of the OJK Board of Commissioners, Friderica Widyasari Dewi, during a press conference following the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK) meeting at the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) office on Monday, August 3, 2026. Kiki, as she is familiarly known, explained that the OJK continues to manage national credit infrastructure to support the public, MSMEs, and the housing sector. One step is optimising the Financial Information Service System (SLIK) by accelerating the update of credit or financing information to no later than three working days after settlement. The OJK is also implementing a debtor threshold of above Rp1 million, which has been effective since July 1, 2026. Regarding export proceeds, the OJK stated its support for the Natural Resources Export Proceeds (DHE SDA) policy by supervising escrow accounts and ensuring the banking industry’s readiness, as well as strengthening inter-agency coordination. Kiki affirmed that DHE SDA funds can be used as cash collateral. The OJK, together with Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs), will continue to consistently and measurably reform capital market integrity while following up on areas for improvement with all stakeholders. The market deepening agenda is also being accelerated, with several new provisions to strengthen business classification, the resilience of securities and investment managers, and carbon exchange regulations to support carbon economic value. The OJK has also issued the 2026-2030 derivatives market roadmap and the Indonesia Sustainable Capital Market Roadmap (IDX Sustainable Roadmap) 2026-2030. Regarding consumer protection, Kiki emphasised that parties conveying financial service information are urged not to potentially mislead the public, as stipulated in OJK Regulation Number 6 of 2026 concerning the Conduct of Financial Service Sector Information Providers, commonly known as the financial influencer regulation.
