OJK in Bangka Belitung Encourages Access to Islamic Finance Through Karomah

ANTARA reported that the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province held Kampung Ramadhan Meriah (Karomah) — a Ramadan festival of Shariah finance — at Alun-Alun Taman. The event targets both business players and consumers; through literacy activities, participants are expected to gain a better understanding. In addition to financial products, the programme will include warnings about online lending platforms (pinjol) and illegal investments, and information on complaint channels will also be provided.
