JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has imposed sanctions on PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk for violations of capital market regulations. The sanctions were issued following OJK’s supervision of the company’s activities in the capital markets, derivatives finance, and carbon exchange. Deputy Commissioner for Licensing and Supervision of Investment Management, Capital Markets, and Securities Institutions at OJK, Eddy Manindo Harahap, stated that the decision was made after considering various findings during the supervision process. “OJK has determined administrative sanctions in the form of the cancellation of the registration certificate as an institutional level I intermediary marketing partner for securities traders to PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk,” he said in an official announcement on Friday (27/3/2026). “Due to not conducting activities as an intermediary marketing partner for securities traders for a period of one year since obtaining the registration certificate as an intermediary marketing partner for securities traders from OJK,” he added. The cancellation of the registration certificate means that Bank Neo Commerce is no longer permitted to carry out activities as an intermediary marketing partner for securities traders. The issuer with the stock code BBYB is also required to settle all obligations to OJK. These obligations include the collection of payments or administrative sanctions in the form of fines that have not yet been settled while still registered. The role is limited to that of an official marketing agent. The execution of securities buying and selling transactions remains handled by securities companies.
