OJK Flags 19 Stocks for High Ownership Concentration
Jakarta. Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) will step up surveillance of actively traded stocks among 19 companies flagged by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for high shareholding concentration (HSC), citing the risk of coordinated trading and price manipulation.
Hasan Fawzi, OJK’s executive chief supervisor of capital markets, financial derivatives and carbon exchanges, said the designation does not automatically mean the companies have violated regulations or warrant sanctions. However, concentrated ownership can heighten the risk of coordinated trading practices and market manipulation.
“Therefore, OJK will step up surveillance through further examinations of HSC stocks that are actively traded,” Hasan said recently.
The HSC designation is based on a methodology for measuring share ownership concentration, covering both scrip and scripless shares, using data as of Oct. 1, 2026.
The IDX has also emphasized that inclusion on the HSC list does not in itself indicate a breach of capital market regulations or other applicable rules.
The 19 companies on the HSC list operate across several sectors, including plantations and mining, banking, infrastructure and telecommunications.
The plantations and mining companies are Sawit Sumbermas Sarana (IDX: SSMS), Golden Eagle Energy (SMMT), Cita Mineral Investindo (CITA) and J Resources Asia Pasifik (PSAB).
The list also includes three banks: Bank Maspion Indonesia (BMAS), Bank Mayapada Internasional (MAYA) and Bank Mestika Dharma (BBMD).
In infrastructure and telecommunications, the companies are Tower Bersama Infrastructure (TBIG), Bali Towerindo Sentra (BALI) and Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (MTEL).
The other companies on the list are Citra Putra Realty (CLAY), Indonesian Paradise Property (INPP), Duta Pertiwi (DUTI), Sarana Meditama Metropolitan (SAME), Sillo Maritime Perdana (SHIP), Akasha Wira International (ADES), Diamond Food Indonesia (DMND), Enseval Putera Megatrading (EPMT) and Temas (TMAS).
Separately, the IDX removed Panca Anugrah Wisesa (MGLV) and MD Entertainment (FILM) from the HSC list.
