Jakarta – The Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) has disclosed that its next meeting with Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) will take place this week. Hasan Fawzi, Head of the OJK’s Capital Markets, Financial Derivatives and Carbon Exchange Supervision, stated that the authority has submitted a report on shareholder ownership disclosure requirements above 1%.

Fawzi said the latest reporting step is expected to be processed and reviewed by MSCI to determine whether it meets expectations or requires further additions. He indicated that MSCI’s initial perception has been positive, and there is hope that the index provider will update its assessment in May.

“But we’ve had the data available from the beginning. So if there’s anything we still need to add, we at least still have plenty of time before the next evaluation in May,” Fawzi said following the DPR plenary session on Thursday (12 March 2026).

Fawzi described communication between the OJK and MSCI as “very positive and constructive,” with interaction at the technical team level being “highly intense.”

He noted that MSCI analysts continue to process data each time there is additional progress in the granularity and detail of information disclosure from the OJK.
