OJK Appreciates Bank Jakarta for Developing DKI's Creative Economy
The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has expressed appreciation for Bank Jakarta’s commitment and contribution to supporting the implementation of the Regional Economic Development (PED) Programme for DKI Jakarta Province, a flagship programme of the Regional Financial Access Acceleration Team (TPAKD).
Nuning Isnainijati, Head of the Directorate of Financial Services Business Conduct Supervision, Education, Consumer Protection, and Strategic Management Services at OJK, thanked Bank Jakarta for its support, which is considered to play an important role in strengthening the creative economy sector as a game changer to accelerate the realisation of Jakarta’s vision as a Top 20 Global City.
‘We extend our thanks and appreciation to Bank Jakarta for its support and contribution to the Regional Economic Development (PED) Programme, which is one of the flagship programmes of the DKI Jakarta Province TPAKD in encouraging the strengthening of the creative economy sector as a game changer to accelerate the realisation of the Top 20 Global City vision,’ Nuning said during the PED Ecosystem Commitment Ceremony for Advertising and Events, part of the Jakarta Kreatif 2026 series held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.
She noted that Bank Jakarta has demonstrated a real commitment to developing the creative economy ecosystem, particularly in the events sub-sector. This participation was evident from the initial discussion stages through to the programme’s implementation preparation phase. Nuning explained that Bank Jakarta was actively involved from the pre-Focus Group Discussion (FGD) meetings in April 2026, the FGD on 12 May 2026, to various pre-implementation follow-ups carried out throughout June 2026.
She assessed that this collaboration forms a crucial foundation for building sustainable cooperation among all stakeholders to strengthen the creative economy ecosystem in Jakarta. ‘We will continue to strengthen this synergy and collaboration as a foundation for the implementation of sustainable cooperation going forward,’ she said.
As a follow-up to strengthening the joint commitment, the OJK and stakeholders will hold a commitment ceremony for the Regional Economic Development (PED) Programme in the event and advertising sub-sectors. This activity will be part of the Jakarta Kreatif Festival (JKF) 2026 series. Bambang Nurcahyo, SME Business Group Leader of Bank Jakarta, attended the ceremony representing the bank.
