OJK Appoints Alex Widi Kristiono as Candidate for IDX Commissioner

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has appointed Alex Widi Kristiono as a candidate for replacement member of the Board of Commissioners of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (Indonesia Stock Exchange) for the 2024-2028 term.

“The appointment was made in order to fill the position of member of the Board of Commissioners of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia for the remainder of the 2024-2028 term,” according to IDX disclosure information, cited on Monday (10/8/2026).

The decision is based on a letter from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) number SR-13/D.04/2026 dated 4 August 2026 concerning the Appointment of Candidate for Replacement Member of the Board of Commissioners of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) for the 2024-2028 term.

It was stated that the appointment of the replacement candidate for the Board of Commissioners can only become effective after obtaining approval from shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia.

As is known, the IDX has scheduled an EGMS on 12 August 2026 at 10.00 WIB with the agenda of appointing a company commissioner to fill the vacant position on the Board of Commissioners.

The EGMS notice was also conveyed to shareholders through the company’s official website on 28 July 2026.

Shareholders entitled to attend the EGMS are those whose names are recorded in the company’s Register of Shareholders on Monday, 27 July 2026 at 17.00 WIB.
