OJK: All MSCI Concerns Have Been Followed Up

The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Friderica Widyasari Dewi, has stressed that the regulator is serious in responding to a warning from Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) regarding the risk of Indonesia’s capital market status being downgraded to frontier markets, should reforms demanded by global investors fail to show progress. Friderica made the statement after attending the Maybank Indonesia Sustainable Finance Forum 2026 in Jakarta on Tuesday (30/6), asserting that all concerns raised by MSCI have been followed up.
