Ojek driver stabbed to death

BOGOR (JP): An ojek (motorcycle taxi) driver was found dead with severe stab wounds on Jl. Raya Narogong in Tlajung Udik village here on Tuesday morning.

Bogor Police identified the victim as Arifin Siregar, 16, a resident of Pedati alley in the village. Police suspect that Arifin was killed during a robbery because his Yamaha Crypton was missing.

Arifin's father, Abdullah Siregar, who would work alternate ojek shifts with Arifin, said his son left the house on Monday at 9 a.m. and never returned.

The teenager's body was found by a neighbor, Aking, about 1 kilometer away from the ojek station.

Police admitted the body to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) General Hospital for an autopsy. (21)
