Oil and Gas Corruption: Alfian Nasution Faces 14-Year Prison Demand
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The defendant, Alfian Nasution, President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga (PPN) from 2021 to 2023, attended the prosecution’s sentencing hearing at the Jakarta Corruption Court on Thursday (23/4/2026). Public prosecutors demanded sentences for three defendants, including Alfian Nasution, of 14 years in prison and restitution of Rp 5 billion or a subsidiary seven years in prison. Hanung Budya Yuktyanta, Director of Marketing and Trading at Pertamina from 2012 to 2014, faces eight years in prison and restitution of Rp 4 billion or a subsidiary four years in prison. Martin Haendra Nata, Business Development Manager at Trafigura Pte Ltd from 2019 to 2021, is demanded 13 years in prison and Rp 5 billion restitution or a subsidiary seven years in prison. The three defendants are also demanded to pay a fine of Rp 1 billion each, as prosecutors deem Alfian and the other two defendants guilty of committing corruption in the management of crude oil and refinery products from 2018 to 2023.
