OIKN Opens Dozens of Destinations to Welcome Tourists During Eid Holiday

“Several visit routes, strategic points, and various support services have been provided as part of the readiness of the IKN area to receive visitors, as an effort to create an inclusive and widely accessible space,” said OIKN Spokesperson Troy Pantouw in Nusantara on Thursday. Despite being in the midst of the construction process and the addition of facilities, the authority is still providing opportunities for the public to come and directly observe the development of Nusantara. Moreover, this long holiday period presents a chance for the public to get closer to Indonesia’s future city, not just through information but also through direct experiences visiting the Nusantara area. “Some locations such as the Plaza Seremoni area, PSSI, Embung MBH, Glamping IKN, Sepaku Semoi Dam, Plaza Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, Taman Kusuma Bangsa, State Mosque, as well as various tourist spots around IKN,” said Troy. The State Palace area can even serve as an alternative destination that can be visited with certain capacity arrangements. Specifically for entering the State Palace area, visitors are not allowed to wear sandals—they must wear shoes, and are not permitted to wear shorts, tank tops, or sleeveless shirts. To support mobility within the area, electric-powered shuttle bus services are provided and will connect various strategic points in the KIPP Nusantara. For those who wish to park their vehicles, KIPP Nusantara provides several parking points scattered across various strategic locations, including around the Western Axis Roundabout, ASN 1 Flats, the left side of the Judicial Plaza Area, Eastern Axis Roundabout, Grande Intersection or Eastern Plaza Intersection, south side of the Bank Indonesia Intersection, ASN 3 Flats at Battery Intersection, and the exit area of the IKN State Mosque.”
