OIKN Chief Reveals 100 Units in Star Bright Apartment Already Booked
IKN, investortrust.id – Head of the Nusantara Capital City Authority (OIKN), Basuki Hadimuljono, has revealed that more than 100 apartment units belonging to PT Star Bright International Investment in Nusantara Capital City (IKN), East Kalimantan, have been booked. The investment value of the project developed by the Chinese foreign investment company (PMA) reaches Rp 1.25 trillion.
“This private investment is encouraging, one of which is Star Bright at Rp 1.25 trillion from China, with four towers. The apartments have already been booked by people. More than 100 apartments have been reserved,” he said during a media briefing at IKN City Hall, East Kalimantan, on Friday (14/8/2026).
According to Basuki, the Star Bright International Investment project is located in Sub WP 1B of the Core Government Centre Area (KIPP) of IKN, standing on a land area of 15,501 square metres. Based on OIKN data, the integrated area project comprises four apartment towers, restaurants, retail areas, and offices.
The residential units offered consist of one- to three-bedroom options equipped with a family room. The area is also fitted with a number of facilities, such as a swimming pool, fitness centre, commercial area, and green open space.
Basuki Hadimuljono stated that the project design has approximately 90% conformity with the design previously built in IKN, namely the “Nagara Rimba Nusa” concept. “On the 21st (of August), the Indonesian Planners Association (IAP) will hold a seminar here, and I have asked Mr Sibarani (architect Sofian Sibarani) to present it,” he said.
Star Bright International Investment officially commenced construction of the project on 15 July 2026. This project is the first construction realised by a foreign investment company in IKN and is targeted for completion by the end of 2026.
In its implementation, Star Bright is collaborating with Zhongda Jiancheng Engineering Management Group Co Ltd, a company from Sichuan, China, engaged in construction project management.
The project also involves a contractor from East Kalimantan. This is part of the project implementation involving local business players. Besides Star Bright, PT Dian Jaya Indonesia, a South Korean foreign investment company, will develop an apartment and hotel project in the WP KIPP Sub WP 1B area.
