OIKN allocates Rp5.3 trillion to build legislative-judicial zone
The Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN), Basuki Hadimuljono, stated that Rp5.3 trillion of OIKN’s indicative budget ceiling of Rp6.7 trillion in the 2027 State Budget Draft (RAPBN) has been allocated specifically to continue construction of the legislative and judicial zone.
“Of the Rp6.7 trillion, that is the first indicative ceiling. But the Rp5.3 trillion is for continuing the next judicial and legislative development. The rest is for management,” said Basuki in Penajam Paser Utara on Tuesday.
OIKN’s indicative ceiling in the 2027 RAPBN Financial Note is recorded as having increased by around Rp400 billion compared to the previous ceiling of Rp6.3 trillion.
Basuki explained that the size of this allocation is in line with the target to complete a number of key IKN infrastructure projects by 2027.
The current infrastructure management needs for IKN reach around Rp500 billion per year.
“This figure has the potential to increase as more assets are handed over to OIKN from relevant ministries for maintenance,” he said.
For the judicial zone, physical construction is targeted for completion on 25 December 2027. This zone includes the Constitutional Court (MK) building, the Supreme Court (MA), the Judicial Commission (KY), the Justice Plaza, and the Zone Mosque.
