Officials' sense of patriotism

One of the most important indicators for tracking changes in
the country's economy is the rupiah's exchange rate. A rupiah
that stabilizes at a reasonable level will expedite and
accelerate the economic recovery. This means that one of the
important variables in determining state revenues can be
controlled and used as a fixed reference so that the government
may focus on optimizing other variables, such as interest rates
and the repayment of our foreign debt.

One of the main factors that could contribute to maintaining a
stable rupiah is our sense of patriotism in respect of our
nation's currency, along with a sense of crisis. This is where
those in authority need to set an example to the public.

A positive attitude will provide a positive, psychological
impact and finally stem the demand for U.S. dollars. I feel
really pessimistic that the rupiah will stabilize at a reasonable
level, and am becoming more pessimistic that the economic crisis
can be dealt with as I read the wealth declarations submitted by
state officials.
