The promotion information was revealed through a post on the official Instagram account of Polda Metro Jaya, @poldametrojaya. “Congratulations and success to Komjen Pol. Asep Edi Suheri, S.I.K., M.Si., on his promotion one rank higher to Commissioner General of Police,” stated the caption in the post, quoted on Tuesday (13/5/2026). Congratulations were also conveyed by the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya along with staff and the Bidhumas ranks.
