Officially On Sale: First Deliveries of the iCar V23 in Indonesia Scheduled

JAKARTA, Saturday 23 May 2026 – PT Chery Group Indonesia has immediately opened the phase of first deliveries for the iCar V23 not long after officially launching the boxy-styled electric SUV in Indonesia. The President Director of Chery Group Indonesia, Zeng Shuo, said consumers will not have to wait long to receive the vehicle units. The company targets initial deliveries to begin in Q2 or early Q3 2026 (around June or July 2026), he told reporters in Jakarta on Saturday. In addition to accelerating distribution, local assembly will also help press the price of the iCar V23 to be more competitive in the national electric vehicle market. “This is not a pre-booking or anything like that; this is an official launch,” Zeng said. “We thank the Indonesian public for its appreciation. The price we have set reflects a lot of feedback and we hope many people will be able to enjoy this iconic product,” he added. The iCar V23 features a boxy SUV design with a modern touch and is offered in two propulsion options: RWD (Rear Wheel Drive) and iWD (Intelligent Wheel Drive). For the Indonesian market, the iCar V23 is marketed from Rp 389.9 million on the road in Jakarta.
