Officially Listed, Immediately Flooded by Investors! BSA Logistics Raises Rp302 Billion from IPO
PT BSA Logistics Indonesia Tbk (IDX: WBSA), an integrated logistics company focused on multimodal transport services, officially listed its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange today (10/4) through an initial public offering (IPO). The company offered 1.8 billion new shares, equivalent to 20.75% of its fully paid-up and issued capital, at a price of Rp168 per share, successfully raising fresh funds of Rp302.4 billion. The company became the first issuer to successfully list on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2026, receiving an enthusiastic response from investors through a public offering that was oversubscribed by 386.86 times. The IPO proceeds will be used to support the company’s expansion strategy, particularly through acquisitions of companies in the sea transport sector as a strategic step to strengthen end-to-end logistics services, as well as for capital expenditures to enhance operational capacity and service efficiency. Established in 2021, the company has built a business foundation as a provider of integrated logistics services encompassing land transport, freight forwarding, warehousing, and container depots. Throughout its journey, the company has continued to develop its operational network and has become a strategic partner for various business players, both national and international. The company believes that this share listing represents an important milestone in strengthening its capital structure, accelerating business expansion, and reinforcing its market position as an integrated logistics service provider. In his remarks, Edwin Wibowo, President Director of PT BSA Logistics Indonesia Tbk, stated that opportunities in the national logistics industry remain vast, given Indonesia’s characteristics as an archipelagic nation and the high levels of industrial activity and domestic consumption. This situation drives significant demand for integrated multimodal logistics services. “Through this IPO, we hope to strengthen our position and capabilities in supporting the growth of the transportation sector and Indonesia’s economy,” he added, as quoted in a written statement on Friday (10/4). “With a focused expansion strategy, an integrated business model, and support from infrastructure and technology adoption, the company is optimistic about delivering sustainable growth and creating long-term value added for all stakeholders,” he emphasised.
