Officially Installed, Maluku KADIN Ready to Strengthen Investment-SMEs in Eastern Region
Koreri.com, Ambon – The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Maluku officially held the inauguration ceremony for the management board for the 2025–2030 period, combined with the Provincial Leadership Meeting (Rapimprov), on Monday (27/4/2026).
This event serves as an important momentum in strengthening the role of the business world in promoting regional economic growth, particularly in the eastern Indonesia region.
The ceremony was attended directly by KADIN General Chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie, along with central board members, business actors, and local government representatives.
In his speech, Anindya emphasised that KADIN has a strategic role as a partner to the government in driving the regional economy through increased investment and empowerment of micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM).
“KADIN must become the engine of the regional economy by utilising local potentials and strengthening the competitiveness of business actors,” he stated.
He also highlighted the importance of building an inclusive and sustainable business ecosystem, as well as expanding business networks to open new investment opportunities in Maluku.
The implementation of the Rapimprov serves as a forum for organisational consolidation in formulating policy directions and work programmes for the next five years. The main focuses discussed include strengthening UMKM, increasing investment, and developing leading sectors such as maritime and fisheries.
Several participants also conveyed various challenges faced by the business world in the region, including limited infrastructure, access to capital, and the need to improve the quality of human resources.
Through this new management, KADIN Maluku is expected to deliver innovative work programmes with tangible impacts for the community. Synergy between the business world and the government is believed to be the key to creating a healthy, competitive, and sustainable business climate.
This inauguration and Rapimprov also serve as an initial step in driving the economic revival of Maluku, to make it more competitive and contribute to national economic growth.
