Officially Appointed IDX President Director, Jeffrey Hendrik Targets Top 10 Global Ranking
PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) has agreed upon its new board of directors for the 2026-2030 period during its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS). Jeffrey Hendrik has been officially appointed as the elected President Director of the IDX for the 2026-2030 term.
He stated that the new board of directors will strive to push the IDX into the top 10 global exchange rankings, both in terms of market capitalisation and daily transaction value.
“Our goal is to bring the Indonesia Stock Exchange into the top 10 largest exchanges in the world, based on market capitalisation and/or transaction value. Currently, we are positioned 19th and 17th respectively for those metrics,” Jeffrey said during a press conference following the AGMS in Jakarta on Monday, 29 June 2026.
During the AGMS, shareholders also approved the Annual Report, including the Board of Commissioners’ Oversight Report, and ratified the Company’s Financial Statements for the 2025 fiscal year. Other decisions included the appointment of the Company’s Public Accountant for the 2026 fiscal year, the appointment and remuneration of Board of Directors members for the 2026–2030 term, and the provision of service fees for outgoing Board of Directors members.
“Through these decisions, the IDX reaffirms its commitment to continuously strengthen the integrity, competitiveness, and sustainability of the Indonesian capital market, while accelerating the transformation towards an increasingly modern, inclusive, and globally competitive exchange,” Jeffrey added.
The 2026 AGMS was held in a hybrid format on Monday (29/6), attended by 90 shareholders, representing 100 per cent of the total shareholders with voting rights.
The appointment was made in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) Number 58/POJK.04/2016 concerning the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners of the Stock Exchange (POJK 58/2016).
