Based on the BKN Head’s Letter Number 5249/B-KS.04.01/SD/K/2026 dated 12 August 2026, the selection series began with the selection announcement on 15 August 2026, and registration opened on 18 August 2026. This schedule serves as a guide for the nine ministries/agencies organising the Government-Affiliated Schools in conducting all stages of the 2026 student intake.

According to the established schedule, the selection announcement took place from 15-24 August 2026. Subsequently, registration was open from 18-30 August 2026, alongside the administrative selection process from 18 August to 1 September 2026. The results of the administrative selection will be announced on 2-3 September 2026.

Participants who have objections to the selection results are given the opportunity to file an appeal from 4-5 September 2026, with responses provided between 4-6 September 2026. The post-appeal results are scheduled to be announced on 7-8 September 2026.

Following the administrative stage, the selection series will continue with the issuance of billing codes and the payment of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) for the Basic Competency Selection (SKD) using the BKN Computer Assisted Test (CAT). This process will take place in September 2026, before participants undergo the SKD CAT BKN scheduled for 22 September to 7 October 2026. Score processing is scheduled for 27 September to 10 October 2026, while the announcement of SKD results will be released in stages from 1-13 October 2026.

Participants who pass the SKD will proceed to the subsequent non-CAT BKN selection stages from 11-28 October 2026. For agencies requesting subsequent selection using the BKN CAT method, the stages for PNBP payment, data validation, scheduling, and the execution of the subsequent selection have also been established within the recruitment schedule.

The final graduation announcement by the respective ministries/agencies is scheduled to take place between 21 October and 1 November 2026.
