PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has adjusted the prices of its non-subsidised Bright Gas Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products, effective 14 July 2026. The price revision is part of a periodic evaluation considering market dynamics and prevailing pricing mechanisms. In Java, the price of a 12 kg Bright Gas canister has been reduced by Rp8,000 to Rp220,000, while the 5.5 kg canister has decreased by Rp4,000 to Rp103,000. The price of the subsidised 3 kg LPG canister remains unchanged, with monitoring at a depot in South Tangerang showing it still selling for Rp22,000 per canister, despite the official highest retail price being set at Rp19,000. Vice President of Corporate Communication at Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, stated that the price adjustment aims to provide competitive non-subsidised LPG products while ensuring quality is maintained. Prices vary by region, with the 5.5 kg and 12 kg canisters priced at Rp107,000 and Rp222,000 respectively in Sumatra and parts of Sulawesi, Rp97,000 and Rp200,000 in the Batam Free Trade Zone, and Rp130,000 and Rp277,000 in Maluku and Papua.
